Overview

Kinsta is a premium managed WordPress hosting provider. Their servers are exclusively powered by Google Cloud Platform, utilizing an isolated container system. This makes them one of the fastest WordPress hosts on the planet.

Kinsta noticed my work at WPMUDEV and reached out to me to work for them as a freelancer. I wasn’t available immediately. As soon as my contract ended, I jumped to work with them. They’ve been one of the best clients I’ve worked with yet. I work with their content editor to plan and create in-depth, long-form, authoritative articles for Kinsta’s blog and knowledge base.

Note: I joined Kinsta as a full-time Technical Editor in September, 2020. As of writing this update (September 2022), I’m super satisfied with my position here.

Since many of my articles are tutorials, they also involve creating step-by-step screenshots, adding code snippets, and designing graphics to explain the technical concepts.

The Result

Engaging, authoritative posts which rank highly in SERPs. All of my posts rank in the first search results page for their primary keyword (e.g. “wordpress shortcodes“, “sucuri vs wordpress“, “speed up woocommerce“) .

A business running in a competitive technical space such as managed web hosting needs to have a constant stream of highly engaging content. I’m glad I got the opportunity to work with Kinsta’s team to realize their vision.
