Summary
In short
- I’m a technical writer and content marketer. I was a writer before I taught myself development, and for 7 years I’ve written for developers about hosting, databases, performance, and the tools in between.
- I read the docs and run the product before I write. At Kinsta I was the first technical editor, so I also know what a draft costs the person who has to edit it.

Start with these
- Kinsta
- PHP benchmarks across major CMSs and frameworks I set up the test machine myself, ran 20 platforms across 7 PHP versions, and wrote up the results. Kinsta still runs the benchmark on the parameters I set in 2021.

- The WordPress Hooks Bootcamp A tutorial on actions, filters, and custom hooks. The plugin it builds is on GitHub.

- PostgreSQL Replication: A Comprehensive Guide A guide that a company now links from its own docs.
- WP Rocket
- Redis Full-Page Cache vs NGINX FastCGI Cache A comparison I measured rather than argued.
- Kinsta
- Fixing WooCommerce performance with Kinsta APM I broke a store on purpose, then traced the fault with the tool I was writing about. Kinsta’s APM docs still send readers to it.
- rtCamp
- Why WordPress is a proven platform for enterprise digital ecosystems An opinion piece written for CTOs.
Experience
Where I’ve worked
- 2026 – now
- Open to work I take contract/freelance work while I’m looking for full-time roles. I rebuilt this site in the meantime.
- 2025 – 2026
- Content Strategist, then Senior Technical Content Writer, rtCamp I wrote 28 pieces of enterprise WordPress content for the people who run engineering and marketing at large companies, 5 of them service pages, and I helped refine the editorial standards that 7 of rtCamp’s 15 hiring assignments now point writers to.
- 2024 – 2025
- Ghostwriter, Multidots I pitched Multidots 5 topics to build its authority with developers and wrote all 5, building every block in the 2 tutorials myself, with my pets as the test users. Two WordPress newsletters and a weekly roundup included 3 of the 5.
- 2020 – 2023
- Technical Editor, Kinsta I built the style guide with the content team and edited 20+ writers. I wrote the 6 DevKinsta launch guides, 5 of them picked up by outside newsletters within 13 days, and the 3 Kinsta APM launch articles, 2 of which its docs still send readers to. I also wrote 28 articles that took Kinsta beyond WordPress, cited 24 times since by universities, a ministry, and a PostgreSQL company; a study of 3,200+ site migrations that 14 of Kinsta’s pages still quote; and the PHP benchmarks, 143 published scores.
- 2019 – 2020
- Technical Writer, WPMU DEV, then freelance for Kinsta and WP Rocket My first bylines, on a 3-month contract. Kinsta noticed them and hired me as a freelancer once the contract ended. For WP Rocket I wrote 5 performance guides between 2020 and 2023; 2 went live before the change they explained, and all 5 remain live under my name.
- 2016 – 2019
- Co-founder, Elebird We ran a creative agency in Bengaluru for MTR Foods, Pearson, and timios. The copy was mine, and so were the websites once clients started asking for them. I wrote timios’s tagline.
- 2015 – 2016
- Lead Content Writer, Licious I wrote the app’s notifications, its product descriptions, and its newspaper ads, and I learned food photography at the product shoots.
- 2015 – 2016
- Content Writer, Hibu, then TCS At Hibu I wrote 5 or 6 small-business sites a day. After TCS bought Hibu’s India division, I edited the junior writers’ work there.
